]]> The SPRING BOX receives the collected water from the spring and filters a desired amount of water through the unique GAUGING SYSTEM to the reservoir. The GAUGING SYSTEM can be set at seven intervals ranging from 380 gallons to 1,520 gallons for a twenty-four hour period or the flow can be shut off to the reservoir. The gauging can be set or changed within seconds and is accomplished without valves or tools. By design, the flow of spring water insulates the filter to prevent freezing in cold weather. The SPRING BOX is designed not to back up water to the spring, as any appreciable buildup of water pressure could reduce the spring’s flow or make the water emerge at some other point. The surplus water flows out the overflow and drain outlet. The SPRING Box is molded in one piece without seams. The large friction lid cover slips on and off easily for inspection and cleaning. The unit is outfitted with a water inlet, overflow pipe, drain outlet, outlet filter, water outlet, shutoff cap. setting area, and gauging system.
